Feast your eyes on the new green iPhone 13 and 13 Pro
How do the green iPhone 13 mini and alpine green iPhone 13 Pro compare to other green phones?
this week, Apple unveiled new green versions of the iPhone 13 series, bringing the total number of colors for the non-Pro models to six.
While the iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 13's new hues look earthier and closer to a leafy green, the Pro flagships come with a sort of frosted finish that helps them better reject smudges. It also makes the color a little paler and adds a metallic sheen.

Find the hidden features in iPhone's new Focus mode.
With the launch of iOS 15, Apple supercharged the Do Not Disturb feature for the iPhone, iPad, and Mac, giving you the options to precisely configure which apps or people can and can’t get in touch with you when Do Not Disturb mode is engaged.
Now you can use multiple Focus modes for working, sleeping, reading, and more. That’s a lot of freedom. However, when you’re starting out, configuring Focus can feel a bit overwhelming (which often happens when a lot of new features drop in a single update).
If you already use Do Not Disturb or a Focus mode for working, use these tips to improve your experience even further.

Apple iPhone 13 - Doin Laps
The Battery Does Last Loooonger....

Don't Buy Apple's Accessories
Apple might try to sell you on their charger, but it's not worth the cost.
I’m an Apple fan. I’m pretty much entirely enrolled in the ecosystem, working between my iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch throughout the day (sadly, no iPod). However, there’s one aspect of the Apple universe that I don’t subscribe to, and, in fact, make an effort to steer away from: accessory loyalty.
Apple makes a lot of accessories: cases, keyboards, headphones, you name it. I really like the Magic Keyboard, and I use my AirPods every day; these aren’t the accessories I’m talking about. For the purposes of this article, I’m referring to Apple’s favorite submarket of cables, chargers, and adapters.

Analyst: All iPhone 14 Models to Feature 120Hz Displays, 6GB of RAM, and More
Apple is rumored to announce four new iPhone 14 models in September, and ahead of time, analyst Jeff Pu has outlined his expectations for the devices.
In a research note with Haitong International Securities, obtained by MacRumors, Pu claimed that all iPhone 14 models will feature ProMotion displays, compared to only Pro models currently. ProMotion enables a variable refresh rate up to 120Hz for smoother appearing content when watching video, gaming, or scrolling. Pu previously said that iPhone 14 Pro models would be equipped with an increased 8GB of RAM, but based on a "supply chain check," he now expects all four iPhone 14 models to be equipped with 6GB of RAM due to cost considerations.

There's a hidden trackpad on your iPhone. Here's how to find it
Your iPhone and iPad have a secret trackpad feature that makes it easier to edit text.
Unlocking the full potential of your iPhone or iPad requires a deep dive into all the features that iOS 15 has to offer. Often these features are stashed away in your settings, making them difficult to find, but other times they're right there -- hidden in plain view -- like the secret trackpad feature in your keyboard. Usually when you're writing a long text message or an email, you use your finger to move the cursor and go back to any area of text you want to delete, rewrite or edit. A magnifying bubble appears underneath your fingertip anytime you do this, enlarging the text so that it's easier to navigate.

Indicator lights can tell you when your iPhone camera and microphone are running in the background.

The iPhone 14 Is Unlikely to Be Portless, Here's Why
Ever since Apple removed the headphone jack on the iPhone 7 in 2016, rumors have swirled that Apple eventually aims to ditch the Lightning port next for a completely portless design. Indeed, analysts originally predicted that the highest-end iPhone 13 would offer a "completely wireless experience." Of course, that didn't happen, but a portless iPhone 14 in 2022 looks just as unlikely, for the following reasons.

Cleaning & Caring for Your Wooden iPhone Case in the Age of COVID-19
Your phone is probably the dirtiest thing you will touch today. (and don't get me started on belt buckles).
our wooden phone case is made from a natural material, and unlike plastic, glass or metal, it’s porous. That makes it more likely to absorb dirt and stains. That's OK, that's part of what makes it more beautiful. It's not necessarily more likely to harbor COVID-19, that's just endemic to our phones in general. What’s the upside of a product more likely to get dirty?
